Bill Murray leads Cubs! (Go Cubs, Go)
This was one of the best clips I watched this weekend. As a reader you may ask why this is happening. Current events, like the Cubs winning the World Series for the first time in 108 years, inspire art and when big players like Bill Murray get involved attention is escalated. You have to remember that during the World Series Bill Murray was on Cubbies turf and got just about the same air time. On the flip side this weekend the Cubbies are on Bill Murray's old turf. As an artist I found this clip of the Cubs sports team and Bill Murray very inspiring, because of the mix of sports and comedy. In one week's time the Cubs win the World Series and Bill Murray, many life times later, returns to SNL.
